Teams can save $26 by registering early for Moorpark's Apricot Slam Pickleball Tournament, a two-day event at Arroyo Vista Recreation Center on Saturday, Nov. 14, and Sunday, Nov. 15.

The early-bird rate is $99 per team for those who sign up by Thursday, Oct. 15, according to the city's tournament page. After that, registration costs $125 per team through Thursday, Nov. 5.

Saturday features men's doubles and women's doubles. Sunday features mixed doubles and senior mixed doubles for players 55 and older. Each division offers skill-level brackets at 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0+. The senior division has intermediate and advanced tiers.

Players can register online, in person at 4550 Tierra Rejada Road, or by phone at (805) 517-6305. The recreation center is open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Teams should have their partner's phone number, email, date of birth and T-shirt size ready.

Game schedules will be posted in November after registration closes.
